Easter Egg Hunt
Remember my first egg hunt?
This year, Yee-Yee got us wrist bands again for the egg hunt in her community. Given that I have had 4 previous egg-hunt experience, I was quick and got myself a lot of eggs! After the hunt, we took pictures with Easter Bunny and also got a Rapunzel balloon from the ballon artist. Remember to check out all the photos from our fun day under the “Photo Albums” page.
A Group Playdate
A group of the mommies from preschool decided to arrange for a group playdate. The original plan was to play at the park and have a picnic. However, since rain was in the forecast for the weekend, we decided to play it safe and have the playdate at Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine instead. We had a lot of fun playing together and we ended our playdate with lunch at a nearby McDonald’s. Mae Mae got to tag along too! She’s the one with the two braids in the lower right corner of the photo.
Soccer
Mama and dada enrolled me in Spring soccer. My friend Jayda from preschool is also playing and we ended up on the same team. Mama took me to buy all my gear a few days ago, and of course I picked out the pink cleats and the pink ball! Mama and dada didn’t know how I would do but I did ok. We started off with some warm up exercise and some drills and we played a good game. Let’s just say there was a lot of running around after the ball! Based on the colors of our team uniform, we decided on a good team name – Zebra! Remember to check out all the photos from our game under the “Photo Albums” page.
Birthday Party
Mama and dada threw me a birthday party at the Wonderland Bakery. It was an all girl party and most of them were my friends from preschool. In addition to decorating our own sugar cookies and working on an art and craft project, mama also hired a face painter for the party For celebration, we all had our own birthday cupcake! It was so much fun! Remember to check out all the photos from my party under the “Photo Albums” page.
Happy 5th Birthday!
I’m five years old today!! It’s a school day so I got to first celebrate at school at my birthday circle. Both mama and dada came this year to celebrate with me and brought popsicles for all my friends. Here I am with my BFF Riley and my teachers.
At night, dada and mama took us out to a nice dinner at The Capital Grille in Costa Mesa. Turns out they went there for a dinner date a couple of weeks ago and due to some disturbance from some inconsiderate guest at the restaurant, the restaurant manager offered to bring them back for a dinner on the house, so they decided to take advantage of it on my birthday. They enjoyed yummy steak and Elyse and I had yummy lobster mac n cheese.
We ended the celebration dinner with a chocolate birthday cake.
New Years Day
We went out to celebrate and had a nice New Year’s Day dinner at Seasons 52 at Costa Mesa. The food was really yummy. We especially enjoyed the desserts. Happy new year everyone!
Christmas Photos
This year we went to the Turtle Rock Community Park to take our holiday photos. It was a nice warm sunny day and we all had fun playing in the park! Remember to check out all the photos from our photo shoot under the “Photo Albums” page.
Christmas Morning
I woke up early and ran over to mama’s room to wake her up. We dragged her and dada downstairs to check out the cookie and the milk that we left for Santa the night before. And after much paper tearing and ripping, this is the pile that we created. Merry Christmas everyone and thanks everyone for the gifts!
Christmas Dinner
We celebrated Christmas early by having dinner at Yee-Yee house with grandpa-gung-gung tonight. To make it easy for everyone, we picked up Lucille’s BBQ. Before dinner, Yee-Yee got the ingredients set up for us to make rice krispie treats for dessert. With dada and uncle Kerry’s help, it turned out to be a success. Cousin Jacquelyn unfortunately didn’t like the whole baking experience, but she sure did enjoy the eating experience!
